Bongs & Frosties.


I’m assuming most of you have been following the Michael Phelps story and his infamous bong hit in South Carolina. In recent days my friends from Kellogg’s have been dragged into the fray, terminating Phelps’ contract because “his behavior isn’t consistent with the image of Kellogg’s”. I read this article on the Huffington Post and it got me thinking—all ethics aside, do you believe Kellogg’s decision is ultimately good or bad for business. Ladies and gentlemen, cast your vote:

i just voted "no" and it feels good. of course, i had a bowl of Frosties before i went to the polls. just playing...or am I?

Maybe Phelps relies on the munchies to get him to his daily calorie needs.

Who really cares about Phelps? Sure he may have helped sales a month after the games, but now? Really? That said, if they leveraged his dope smoking incident to expand their audience to kids post middle school, well, then they may be on to something.

LD, are you suggesting that Kellogg's encourage high school kids to get high? if so, we at Mutt would like to go on record as being categorically opposed to your position. in this new corporate world, it's important that we blot out things like drugs, violence and private golf clubs.
